The CBC foam board resists standard impacts and rarely dings. Traditional fiberglass boards crack, shatter, or ding easily when hitting rocks or the sea floor, requiring messy and expensive resin repairs. The CBC foam board is very low maintenance. Traditional fiberglass boards require frequent wax upkeep and careful storage out of the hot sun to prevent delamination. Foam boards have higher volume relative to their length, making them much easier to paddle and catch small or weak summer waves.
