Vintage Floral Moriage Ceramic Glazed Table Lamps - Cinioserie Late 20th Century

Vintage Chinioserie Teal Green Floral Ceramic Vase turned into beautifully useful table lamp. This handpainted piece has stunning large white/pink blossoms with some still flowering and little flowers incorporated around green leaves and vines. This piece is in fantastic vintage and working condition. No chips or cracks, I only noticed a possible liquid stain on the lip of the vase, which I pictured to the best of my ability in the last picture. The painted wood base was loose from the vase and I tightened it a bit, if you need it tighter all you need to do is tighten the nut on the bottom, easy. This lovely base uses a very distinct technique, moriage, where they fire the clay part way, then paint with thickened paint/clay on top giving it a textured, 3D fill effect (like when you flood and color sugar cookies), and then re-fire the piece so it must be good quality to stand the stress of double firing. Its a beautiful vintage floral designed ceramic table lamp and it will make for a beautiful anchor in many kinds of rooms and a talking piece.
