The indicator lights provide the battery charging status and even lets you know if the battery is too hot or too cold to charge. For easy transport, this charger has a handle and removable power cord. You can place the charger on a work bench or mount it on a wall vertically or horizontally to give you extra space. This charger is compatible with all RYOBI 40V batteries
