EXQUISITE Black Indochinite Meteorite Impactite/Tektite 28.3 grams Indochinite Meteorite Impactites/Tektites were formed when a large meteorite/asteroid impacted the region of the Indochinese Peninsula in ancient times & melted & ejected silicate material into the Earth's upper atmosphere & later cooled & fell back to Earth to form the characteristic black shapes of amorphous silicate glass containing gas bubbles & inclusions.  They are found from Australia & the Pacific islands of Micronesia in the east & south to China & Indonesia in the north & west. Beware of volcanic pseudo-tektites like Columbianites/Agni Manitites. This specimen originates from the South China Sea area. 1cm scale cube & digital scale not included in sale.  I have been collecting meteorites from reputable worldwide hunters & dealers for more than 25 years & I am reducing my collection to offer this fine specimen up for sale.
