Description

Wood trunk covered in copper and black metal, (possibly zinc) adds charm and character to any room. Victorian era from 1880’s. Wood slat reinforcements on all sides and lid. Built to last. Lid has a dome top. Iron hardware and corners. Leather strap handles. Inside removable shelf for dainties and toiletries. Original lithograph inside lid (unknown) was the owner. Entire interior is paper covered. Copper inside lid stabilizer. 2 black iron latch closures. Waterproof and insect proof to withstand damp maritime conditions. Commonly used on ocean liner trips. Small wheels still roll. 30” x 17-1/2” x 21-1/2” tall. Very good condition for its age. Asking $45. Pick up in Glendale Heights. Check out my other posts please
