Description

Selling my beloved vintage (circa ~1987) Trek in a striking red color. I bought this bike years ago in basically stock factory shape (it even had 30yo tires). I replaced the tubes and tires (Continental Ultra Sport), front brake pads, grips and brake hoods, seat, cables, and re-indexed both derailleurs. The chro-moly frame is in excellent shape and is a very supple ride. The downtube shifters are fun to use and shift well. The bike feels slick and fast on the road and is great fun. This bike should be good for anyone up to 5'9" or so. I am 5'5" and it is perfect for me. I am selling to fund and make space to get a bike for my fianceé. Hoping this goes to a good home for many more miles and smiles!
