Description

Selling this for my old man, Clean title , 2 owners! 1989 Yamaha maxim 750 Falls under the years of a collector now so hey you don’t need to get tabs every year! 21k miles for a 89 is really good. Rebuilt carbs Clutch is less than a year old. Push button start. All lights and turn signals function. Tires still have some good life. New spark plugs Just changed the oil. But have put some miles on it, may change it again before selling. Took on 150 mile ride, had 0 issues. She starts up first try every time. Little cold blooded but it’s carborated so that comes expected. Brake fluids changed & bled. Stainless headers 4-2-2 This brother bike isn’t the prettiest but if you want reliability, comfort, and lots of low end power this is the bike for you. I’d personally keep it but they need the money atm. Will do 100+ with 0 effort. Great gas mileage even with it running a little rich, you could tinker with the carbs, I just left it because it runs great! Runs on the rich side but still gets good gas mileage. It’s not a top speed bike, but it’s got all the torque! It surprised the crap out of me first couple times I road it. It’s got some balls! Perfect commuter or just ripper around town! Cons - choke is technically on upside down I still functions, and honestly the bike never even needs the choke it starts up great without it. Take maybe 20 min to flip it just never bothered me. - paint ain’t perfect but looks good for the most part. Little tlc and shes a beaut! Great beginner bike or maybe even a stunt bike build it’s got enough power that’s for sure.
