Earl was excellent. In the past we have faced so many issues including the rudeness and we were told to expect something but when we arrived at dealership, nothing had been booked. And my daughter cried because they were so rude. The salesperson was only nice until I agreed to buy the car. From that moment on, the attitude changed. Amd the car had several issues and I was beginning to feel so disappointed and never wanted to come back again. And we were sorely disappointed. But the young finance person and Earl were very nice to me. So at least that helped me change my opinion a little better. Thank you.

Deceptive sales practice or just incompetence?
My experience with Younkers Nissan Sales went very poorly; a waste of my time with two visits.

Visit #1, 3/16/2024:  After pre-contact with Garrett on a listed pre-owned Frontier truck, I made an appointment to see it.  I arrived to be surprised that it was not available because the dealership owner had taken it off lot for the weekend.  Instead, I test drove the same exact model with much lower miles and much higher price.  Sure, I’m disappointed to not see the actual truck but also surprised that the viewed truck is filthy as though it’s just come in from a day of off-roading.   At the end, Garrett seeks  to close on the original truck sight unseen!  No, I need to see the actual truck.  So I let Garrett know to set up another appointment for a revisit to see the truck upon its return.

Visit #2 3/22/2024:  The following week, I follow up with Garrett who says that the truck is being returned that mid-week.  I set up an appointment to view, requesting that the truck be fully detailed in advance because in the listing it looks dirty (does this dealership really want to sell these pre-owned trucks?).  On the appointment day, as I’m making my way through Seattle traffic, I am notified that 1) they still need to detail the truck and 2) they can’t find the keys.    Fine, we move the appointment later in the day and they find one key but not the other (which the sales rep later claims to have driven to Seattle to get (doesn’t add up how he could drive to Seattle and back before I arrive?).  When I arrive, I had to wait additional time while they finish the detailing.  NOW THE KICKER:  finally when I get to see the cleaned truck, I check the odometer, and to my bewilderment, it is the low mileage truck from Visit #1, NOT the original truck I was interested in seeing!  What’s going on here?  Garrett tells me that they sold the truck last weekend after I initially visited.  HUH?  Then why didn’t he inform me?  Why am I seeing the same truck that I already saw in vist #1 and I’m not interested in?   I’m upset for the time waste.  Annoyingly, they tried to offer the low mileage truck with a slight discount and when I countered them to meet the price of the sold truck, the sales manager came over and instead offered a 2024 Frontier with minor discount.  Insulting, that they're trying to steer me into buying higher priced vehicles with slight discounts!

Maybe it was plain incompetence by Garrett, but I wonder if they had the truck at all, bait customers in and switch with vehicles with greater margins?

As of today 3/24, the truck I was originally interested in remains on their website but now at a higher price! See photo, it was listed at special price of $37149 for the past 2-3 weeks.

Update 4/16/2024:  Over the past few weeks, my messages left to meet with the General Service Manager, Jeff Mirante has not been responded.

Instead my complaint filed with the Washington State Attorney General was taken up by the Atty General and forwarded to the Younker Nissan for response.  The General Service Manager, Jeff Mirante, responded to point this as miscommunication and apology for inconvenience (first and only time they apologized).  There was no explanation why the truck was re-advertised on their website at  a higher price.

Note that as of this date 4/16/2024, weeks after I left this review, there has been no further response here or lack of immediate response or concern.  Just emblematic of their poor customer sales service.

I did pick up a nice 2023 Frontier at another local dealership that was at the same low mileage, trim level fully loaded, and at a better price than what Younker had at the time and WITH STRAIGHT UP sales representation.  So not all sales teams are bad, just hopefully only a few bad apples that have deceptive tactics only interested in closing a sale.

Shout out to Garrett for putting my husband into his beautiful caspian blue 2020 Nissan murano. Barely 30k miles, loaded with leather seats, heated steering wheel , headed back seats, panoramic roof,and rides so effortlessly with power but smooth. Because of GARRETT, My husband Was able to walk in and use his amazing credit score and walk out with this beautiful suv. Easy to find! Great customer service! Stop Performance Brake Pads and tires are so bad use it not safe. Shop is so expensive put all news materials i bought this truck 6 months ago and loans financing is high Interest. If this could be zero stars I would give it just that. I always go to Auburn but they were booked out so I tried Rentons location. Bad idea. I arrived at 09:20 with an appointment because my car will chirp in the mornings while it needs to warm up and it appeared to be the serpentine belt. 12:47 rolls around and I haven't heard anything so I asked what was going on and the response was "I don't know where you're cars at but I think he's out driving it to see if he hears the squeaking." Even though I told them it only squeaks first thing in the morning for about 30 minutes. So I go and wait again. 13:53 rolls around and I ask again what's the update and I got a "I don't know I think he's out driving it again should be ready soon". 14:20 rolls around and finally I get handed my keys and NOTHING was done to my car and was advised to leave it over night. The notes I got from my invoice was that the guy tried twice between 1 hour to let it cool down and see if they could hear what I heard. Concern could not be replicated even though I knew they wouldn't hear it because once again I said it only happens first thing in the morning when I turn my car on for the first time that day. So if the person tried twice between 1 hour to replicate my issue why did I wait from 09:20 - 14:20?!
