Handy man special. I have a 1999 Volvo V70 with 272k miles and have service history since new. Parts recent as two years installed are: alternator, exhaust system, cam shaft seal, front lower control arms, rear hatch struts, battery. Things it needs for which I do not have parts for are: a/c compressor, rear shocks. Thing that need to be done and have brand new parts in the trunk are: 4 brand new all season tires, front strut assemblies, drivers side cv axel, rear coil springs ( not the rear shock and springs are ok. I was going to replace all 4 springs while doing the struts). Timing belt and water pump service was done at 235k miles and I used the racing belt for added assurance, transmission fluid drain and fill every 30k miles. Oil change every 5 k miles with synthetic oil. This car does not burn oil and shifts correctly, it’s a very reliable car and gets great mpg. I just don’t have the time or energy to get it back on the road. Asking price is firm (don’t ask for less, more would be appreciated ) as that will cover the parts. You will get the book with its history and all the extra parts I’ve collected on stocked up on. First cash in hand will get the title. These cars are bullet proof, just keep up with routine maintenance and they are easy to work on. No rust on frame or body. Tow hitch and wiring. Come and get it.
