UPDATE: the motorhome was so attractive to a party of three individuals (two males and a female) that they decided to steal it. Well it has been recovered. They got as far as Waxahachie before being apprehended by the police. So if you had any question as to whether or not I am lying in my ad about its condition or the robustness of the drivetrain...ask Waxahachie police. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the professionals within the Waxahachie police department for 1. doing their job. 2. Going above and beyond and finding the owner. 3. Contacting the owner and informing me of the retrieval. 4. Utilizing their training, intuition and intelligence...to see though the BS they were told upon pulling that motor home over. Chassis: 1988 Ford E-350 Transmission: Automatic C6 Differential: Dana 70 HD W/ 4.10 gears Video: https://youtu.be/-m5_b_FUxgk Oh yeah, the living quarters are rough. The engine, chassis, rear axle and transmission however are solid. Engine fires right up and runs like stink! I replaced a couple glow plugs, replaced fuel/water separator filter, replaced the fuel injector o-rings with new Viton versions, bled the injector lines of air, dropped the diesel tank to flush it, and installed an electric fuel pump to aid the mechanical lift pump. Electric pump is on its own switch and can be operated independently. The mechanical lift pump does work and will deliver fuel all by itself. I have also replaced the fuel return hoses. Front driver and passenger captain chairs, power steering and power brakes. I replaced the radiator and upgraded to an electric cooling fan. Brand new water pump installed. As for the living quarters, this beast might be best for parts to be used on a different motorhome. Or perhaps start over and reuse the appliances present. There is no frame damage and no rust.
