I have this beautiful antique child'd rocking chair. I use a rocking chair when I read and my daughter wanted one along side me so I got her this to use. It is still very sturdy and usable. My daughter has outgrown it and now takes over my chair. A furniture appraiser once informally said its likely from between 1890 and 1920. Again, it was informally said so take it with a grain of salt. I just mention it hear in case anyone is interested. Reach out if you have questions or want to see it. Its great for your kid to actually use (maybe be a reading chair like my daughter!) or as an antique piece to collect. Great item either way.
