Description

This Stair-Glide brand stairway chairlift will be ***available from September 15th.*** This mobility device allows for persons with difficulty climbing stairs to ride up and down on the chair. The glide track is 14ft long and can span a set of stairs with 12 steps. The track is 12.5” wide. It can be adapted to the left or right side of the stair case, but seat only swivels to the left. (see photos) The unit plugs into a standard three-prong home electrical outlet (120V 12A). The unit also comes with two switches to mount at the top and bottom of the stairs to recall the unit without a person sitting in the chair. Glide track bolts into the floor at the top and bottom of the stairs. It also disassembles into two pieces for transport, but will require large truck or van for transport. My mom has used this mobility device since 1985. Motor was overhauled with new solenoid coil in 2010. Device originally manufactured in 1982. Please note vinyl seat has some small tears from daily use.
