This is the first year of the Inspired by Gibson (IG) series of the Epiphone 335 Traditional Pro with the smaller headstock, double bound body, and mahogany neck. I removed the stock wiring with the quick connects and replaced it with a single CTS volume pot with treble bleed and a Seymour Duncan SH-5 in the bridge. It's like a mix of the Tom DeLonge 335 mixed with Starcaster where a single bridge pickup and volume is all you need to just plug in and go! Also swapped out the stock chrome bridge and tailpiece for nickel Gotoh pieces, and left the stock neck pickup disconnected in there just for looks. It’s in mint condition, I only used this for recording at home and it sounds killer! Cleans up nice rolling the volume back. Just changed out the strings to a new set of D'Addario 10-46 and set it up to the Gibson specs. If you’re interested in the guitar but would rather have it converted back to the factory setup with the original pickups (without the quick connect), I can drop in some CTS pots and a three way toggle.
