The dial and the glass protecting panel are very well preserved too; the dial bears black indications, red central point and a metal hand with painted ends. The Taylor brand name is printed in the center. The brass hinges and fastener are original too and remain in working order. US Military Collectors and historic antique Collectors will recognize a real find in this wonderful US Army compass, a great piece that has survived the most important contents of the 20th century.
