Description

Vintage Jack In The Box cookie jar-Jar no 119 Abingdon USA This adorable cookie jar was made by Abingdon pottery from 1947 to 1949 and is valued as a collectible. The clown figure appears to be popping out of the lid as Jack-in-the Box characters do. Pastel pink, yellow, green, and blue colors decorate the clown as well as the ABC lettering on one side and the word COOKIES on the other. The lid on this jar was cracked in the process of moving and, there is a small black mark on one of the letters, which I included a picture of above. I have seen this jar selling anywhere between $125 to $275 in good condition. The jar is roughly 5 1/2 inches by 5 1/2 inches square, and approx. 5 1/2 inches high without lid. When the lid is in place, it's height is approximately 11 1/4 inches. Available for pickup downtown SB.
