It features print, copy, scan, and fax functions and has easy installation wizards and step-by-step configuration options to help you get started. It uses a Hi-Q LED print head and offers a print resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi. Key features include automatic two-sided printing, print output of up to 55 letter/legal pages per minute in color and black-and-white, scan and fax preview for ensuring information accuracy, optical character recognition (OCR) to help you do more with scanned documents, and security features including card authentication to control access. The main paper tray holds 550 sheets, and a bypass tray supports 150 sheets, for a total of 700 sheets in up to 8.5 x 14" legal size. Additionally, there's a 100-sheet single-pass duplex automatic document feeder (DADF) that scans two-sided originals for copy, scan, and fax jobs. At the top of the printer is a 400-sheet output tray. This printer is modular and can be upgraded with various add-ons, such as a storage cabinet and multiple additional paper trays to support a maximum of 3250 sheets of paper. This XL version also supports optional finisher and mailbox add-ons. The C605/XL has a taller design than the standard C605/X model in order to support the finisher or mailbox. The optional finisher (B&H # XE097S04952) collates and staples sets of up to 50 sheets of paper and includes a 500-sheet output tray. The optional four-bin mailbox (B&H # XE097S04953) holds up to 100 sheets per bin. The C605/XL is mobile-ready to print from multiple devices via Apple AirPrint, Chromebook Printing, Xerox Print Service Plug-In for Android, Near Field Communication (NFC) Tap-to-Pair, Mopria, and Wi-Fi Direct. You get out-of-the-box connectivity to Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, and DropBox, as well as access to additional options through the Xerox App Gallery. Also, Xerox ConnectKey Technology brings an intuitive user experience, mobile- and cloud-readiness, benchmark security, and easy integration with Xerox Managed Print Services.
