MARANTZ 2270 STEREO RECEIVER IN WOOD CABINET ~ SERVICED & WORKING!

this is my marantz 2270 in an original wc-22 wood cabinet. I had the phono section serviced at a cost of $350, and this machine works and looks amazing! It also has had a new power switch and button installed, new led's in both the meters and cool white led's in the dial lamps to retain the look of the originals. I have restored and polished the cabinet, deoxited the pots, and thoroughly cleaned this unit inside and out. the faceplate is near mint. It has a couple minor flaws: 1. one faceplate screw head broke off in the chassis, so needs drilled out if you're so inclined. 2. the tuner string is slightly out of alignment. It appears the string was broken and repaired so is a bit shorter than original, so vaguely effects the alignment. 3. at some point, the dial indicator was broken off and repaired, so the light reflects thru it dimmer than it originally was. 4. some minor rust inside the chassis (see photo). all these issues are minor, and do not impede on the fine performance of this receiver. Its sounds awesome! I am only letting it go because I have moved on to tube units. I will except no cashiers checks, or other ridiculous requests, and I've heard them all, so don't bother.
