Pietra Dura (hard-stone inlay) table top console table, an intricate mosaic made from polished semi-precious stones carefully cut and inlaid to form floral and scroll motifs. The frame is heavily decorated with hand-carved foliage, swags, and classical motifs, all gilded in gold. Each leg features carved male and female busts reminiscent of Roman or Greek gods. The lower cross brace joins in an elegant curved “X” with a carved fruit-and-flower centerpiece. Approximate measurements h. 35.5", w. 57.5", d. 29.5"
