Selling my Made In Japan classic series 1968 reissue Fender Mustang Bass. I bought this brand new in 2014 (the last year they made these) and played it for about a year in local shows only. Otherwise it has lived in a studio and only been used to record. This thing is in great condition and plays like an absolute beast. Currently has D’Addario tape wound strings on it. And they’ve got some life left. Comes with strap locks and strap and the molded ABS hard case. Case has lock and keys with it. Has zero scratches or dents and everything is original on it. Want to buy it with a full pedal setup as well (pedal board, power supply, SansAmp 3 channel, and Arc Effects Klone v2) - $1700 *check my other items for pictures of pedals. The body of this short scale wonder is cut from alder for a complex and dynamic tone. Coupled with the short-scale this produces a wonderfully woody thump. This vintage-faithful shape is covered in a classic Olympic White. Sitting in the tortoise pickguard is a split-P single coil providing classic sweet bottom end. The short scale maple neck is a player's dream- with a 30" scale it is easy and super-comfortable to play. The modern C profile fits the hand perfectly, and the rosewood fretboard is smooth and fast for the utmost playability, while also adding to the organic woody tone of the bass.
