Description

Antique wooden statement piece. Carvings are raised leaves and a flower in the middle with a raised vine attaching them the full length of the piece. Has distress marks as a testament to how old it is. The two ends have holes for hanging. It is curved and obviously hand carved. Not sure if it was originally the top of a cabinet, mantle… Also has wooden pegs/dowels on the top. measures 59” long, 4 1/2” wide, 2” deep at thickest part, see pictures for the curves. Found in Newport RI 25 years ago. I had it hung on the wall above my kitchen sink , very interesting and farmhouse. Entertaining reasonable offers!!
