Description

This display consist of authentically autographed boxing gloves from each member and alternates of the 1996 Olympic boxing team that competed in Atlanta. This display also depicts a newspaper article on how the team met James Brown in Augusta Georgia and includes all the coaches assistant trainers and staff of the 1996 Olympic team as well. It also includes signed program from the final box off competitions held at the James Brown Arena in Augusta, Georgia. It was given to me by the team members and presented to me by Tom Morates, Augusta Boxing Team Head for my efforts to arrange a meeting with James Brown while in Augusta, Ga at the King George Restaurant & Pub.
