Description
Here we have a Keystone badge late 60’s/early 70’s Supraphonic snare. The chrome was in rough shape so I had it blasted smooth and powder coated a Black Galaxy finish. The Angel Hoops are installed but the original hoops are included as well. This aluminum drum is made even lighter by the addition of the aluminum hoops. Great sounding snare! I’ve been buying, selling, and playing drums for well over twenty years and I take great care of my gear. I’m a “drum nerd” and I love drum projects. All my gear is clean and solid. Ask any questions you might have. I can help. I do this as a hobby, so I’ve disassembled and reassembled more than a 100 drums in the past ten years. I only use quality parts from sources like DFD and original Pearl snares. I love doing mods and hardware swaps so I can sell my “spare parts” snares at a very reasonable price. If this drum seems more expensive than other similar drums, it’s because it’s unique or one of a kind. Most likely, this will be the least expensive snare of its type and style on Reverb (or even FEEbay), and I guarantee it’s put together well and sounds great.
