Description

An important Civil War date and a tough "old reverse" transitional variety. The old reverse is much better than the new reverse variety of the same year and is distinguished easily by the oval O in "OF" rather than the new round O. PCGS list just four finer, but not all of those boast CAC approval! The present coin features full mint bloom on display across the frosty deep wheat-gold surfaces. Sharply defined throughout with no mentionable marks or abrasions. Completely original and boasting stellar eye appeal, this is one for the astute gold specialists and registry set collectors! - Liberty Head $2.5
