Compact Assault Backpack (24L)

This is an excellent and sturdy pack with great organization. 2 large compartments run the full height of the pack with 2 smaller outer compartments to round out this well appointed pack.  I love to be organized so I've really appreciated thoughtful design of this style of pack.  It's in excellent shape and has mostly just sat in my car full of emergency gear. I found a different pack that I have come to prefer for that purpose so that means someone else gets to re-task this one. Will that be you? The camo pattern is standard ACU but it has been dyed to darken and dial back the colors, thus somewhat distinguishing the look from active military. MOLLE loops placed down the sides and on the back of this pack allow you to attach additional accessories or storage capacity (add-on pouches) to this already ample pack weighing in at 16" L x 9" W x 11" D with a capacity of 1458 cubic inches (24 L). This is a tried and true pack design with an excellent adjustable compression system with cinch buckles seen across the bottom, lower sides and a 3rd adjustment from top to bottom of the outer pack. All straps have small elastic bands so you can keep the excess strapping neat. The three larger compartments have organization within in the form of various sized zippered pouches and open pockets. The straps are fully adjustable to make the pack ride best for your build and body proportions. The waist strap (removable) with quick release buckle helps keep the pack close to your body so the load moves with you instead of shifting independent from your body. This is the beefy, heavy denier nylon strapping throughout this pack, not the cheap, wannabe strapping that flexes like it were little more than denim. Zippers and velcro are excellent quality. This pack also features a comfy, generously padded back and spacer mesh ensuring a great fit during your long commutes, treks, or patrols.
