2005 Chevrolet Venture

For sale is a 2005 Chevrolet venture van. The mileage is currently at 98,562. The van is still registered and insured in Connecticut. Since I am still driving it on occasions, the actual mileage might be slightly higher. I am the second owner. I purchased the van from the US government in October 2022 with 83,692 miles on it. since it was owned by the US government, they keep their vehicles on a regular maintenance schedule. The van spent most of its life in Florida and was used to travel back-and-forth to Connecticut over the past three years. I recently drove it back to Connecticut two weeks ago with no issues. since the van was in Florida for the past two years, it will need to go through emissions. There is no check engine light on, so it should pass emissions with no problems Body/exterior - the body has some rust, miscellaneous scuffs, and dings. Overall, the body paint still shines nice. As you can see in the pictures, there are some rust spots in the lower rocker panels. The van also includes two new steel replacement lower rocker panels that have not yet been installed. Engine - This is a 3.4 V6 engine and runs great. I recently changed the engine oil and filter. There are no engine oil leaks and the engine doesn’t smoke. The front exhaust manifold gasket has a slight exhaust leak. It has been like this ever since I have owned it. The exhaust manifold is a little noisy when it’s cold and the noise decreases somewhat when it warms up. The muffler and exhaust pipes are all in good condition. Electrical - the “ABS” and “trac off” lights come on intermittently and eventually do go off. Also, sometimes there is an error message on the dash that states “service traction system.” I replaced both the upstream and downstream oxygen sensors. All the lights work. The AC blows cold air. Also, the heat works well. Transmission - I changed the filter and flushed the fluid. I added an external transmission fluid cooler. There are no fluid leaks. Brakes - I installed new front brake calipers and pads. I also installed new brake lines with upgraded nickel copper brake lines. Interior - the van has seating for seven people. The two middle seats came from a different model Chevrolet van. The carpet and rear seat have some stains. In the very rear floor, it looks like someone spilled some paint. Tires - three of the tires are in good condition with plenty of tread. The drivers side rear tire has some dry cracks, but still holds air and it has plenty of tread.
