Description

It pains me to sell my all time favorite bicycle (Giant Gi OCR3 Women’s Xsmall Blue - $350 (Ballard) in part because it was a perfect fit for my small frame. I’m 5’3-5’4, 125 lbs, and it fit me beautifully. I purchased it in 2001 for riding primarily paved bike paths (I had a mountain bike and a hybrid for other trips) and had it tuned up yearly. I had it tuned a little over two years ago and then became seriously ill and haven’t been able to ride since then. It’s been stored in my climate -controlled storage space and basically hasn’t been touched since then. The folks at JRA on 85th in Greenwood did a great tuneup at the time. Shimano drivetrain and shifters. Adjustable seat. New seat and wrapping on handlebars. This is a great first bike for a teenager or small woman. It’s very easy to control. I haven’t logged as many miles on it as I would’ve like due to various illnesses and hospitalizations. I’m guessing I’ve done 350-400 miles on primarily flat terrain, although the gears have always shifted nicely with zero issues. I bought it in 2001for riding the Silver Comet Trail in Atlantas, Ga, a 61 mile rail trail. The new more cushioned seat was bought around 2018. I also added a kick stand to the frame. Please note that I don’t really know the wheel size or frame material, but I had to fill in something so CL would move forward with listing. I’m not at my home just now, but will try to suss out the correct info asap. My mid-range Giro women’s Helmut is included in the price as is a high-quality highly-rated lock and an air pump, as well as a small under seat storage pack (not shown). I’d love to find a new home for it to continue its journeys in Seattle!
