This is a pretty rare, unique and excellent turntable from Optonica. This deck is a BEAST. Sounds great, looks super cool and weights just a hair under 40lbs. The base is made of bonded granite. I had an SL-1200 but sold it when I found this about 4 years ago. This gave me every bit of the performance of the 1200 but is way more interesting. I recently lucked into another table that also sounds incredible but ups the cool factor another couple notches, so time for this beauty to move on to a new home. It has the original headshell, the original iso feet are in great shape and the dust cover is very solid. One small crack near the hinge that has no effect on functionality. It IS ready for a good cleaning and the cover would benefit greatly from a polish. I will sell it for $450 with no Cartridge. It is currently mounted with a virtually brand new (<20hrs) Denon DL-110 HOMC Cartridge. It is suitable for MM phono pres. Fantastic, detailed and spacious sounding cart that was $300ish new. With the Denon DL-110, asking price is $600. Thanks for looking.
