Vintage Mid 1900s MOBO Ride-On Toy Horse

Description

This is a vintage Mobo Bronco ride-on toy horse, manufactured by D. Sebel & Co. in England, likely from the 1950s. Original paint job still looks amazing and it works great!! The toy is made of painted, pressed steel with a lithographed tin body. It operates using a spring system where the rider pushes down on the stirrups to make the horse move forward in a trotting motion. "Magic Steering," introduced around 1950, allowed riders to steer by pushing on either stirrup. It was a very popular toy and remained in production until the early 1970s. This toy horse belonged to my grandmother as a kid. It’s in great condition considering its age. Still works great!! I’ve seen these listed online from about $500-$1,500 and mine is way better condition than all the others I’ve seen online!!. Only $140!! Any questions just let me know!!
