Description

Solid oak case, moon‑phase dial, three brass weights & pendulum, approximately 6'3", one weight needs to be reconnected, otherwise, this thing is tip top. This is pick‑up only, it is on the main floor and recommend bringing two people and a dolly. The brass makes it pretty heavy. Sligh was known for high‑quality cabinetry and very good chime sound; they marketed these as higher‑end contemporary grandfather clocks rather than cheap imports. The movement in this era is a German‑made cable‑wound Hermle triple‑chime movement (Westminster, St. Michael, Whittington), with a rotating moon‑phase dial and three brass weights and a lyre pendulum.
