Large, brown, farm fresh, free range eggs from well loved, happy chickens. $5.00/dozen. We have a small flock of beautiful ISA Brown hens that are laying more eggs than we can currently use. Sizes of eggs range from large to jumbo. Our hens are allowed to forage daily, and we give them fresh spinach, broccoli, green peas, squash, zucchini, chia seed, flax seed, black sunflower seed, strawberries, grapes, blueberries, and blackberries, along with their pellet feed. The yolks tend to be high standing, and a deep orangish yellow, with thick, clear whites, and remarkably hard, thick shells. Eggs are gathered daily and lightly washed to remove dirt and debris but are NOT SANITIZED like store bought eggs and still contain the bloom on the shell. Once you try farm fresh, free-range eggs from well loved, happy chickens, you will never want a store bought egg again!!!
