One of the better vintage Technics direct drive turntables with quartz lock. It has been completely serviced as well: -All gearing and sliders cleared of old, sticky grease and new grease applied. -platter spindle bearing cleaned and re-oiled. -Tonearm damping grease replaced for an easy rise/fall of the tonearm. -All switches cleaned. -Tonearm bearings reset and oiled. -Stanton 500 Cartridge with excellent original stylus installed and set up. -Headshell and tonearm contacts free of any corrosion.  -Power cord and phono cables cleaned and checked. -Completely cleaned and detailed. -Plastic dust cover polished. Unit looks great and functions like new. Perfect turntable for a novice or knowledgeable vinyl lover. Technics turntables are known for their performance and reliability. Don't spend $500+ on an SL-1200MK2 (unless you're a DJ of course) when you can get a MINT, serviced similar Technics for under $200 Audition available. NW Chicago at Devon and Milwaukee.
