Description

I believe this is a 63-66 harmony silhouette sunburst bobkat unsure of exact year Plays surprisingly well for sitting in my collection for a decade collecting dust. Another vintage guitar i don't show enough appreciation to and I'm sure there is a more deserving home. I primarily play metal, metal core, thall, progressive metal and while this guitar is fun to play I tend to stick to my 7 string legator and 6 string schecter. Electronics seem to be in working order. Comes equipped with 2 harmony de armond pickups $350 pickups on reverb. Perfect for a wide range of music pretty bright but can also handle some good old fashioned rock n roll, grunge, has great highs and mids and can deal with distortion surprisingly well. No noticeable feeling dings on the fretboard back of neck has some dings but i wouldnt say affects playability. Pretty common to have stress cracks in some older guitars on the fret board but this one seems to be free of them. Has some natural relic from age and seems to be in better condition than most I've seen online and on reverb. Also asking roughly the same for those in worse condition. Guitar needs a setup/new strings plays and sounds good through and amp but has some buzzing on the first and second fret on the low E. I believe a truss rod adjustment is in order for this one, possibly bridge but I've already adjusted that and it minimally helped. I can attempt this for you but I'm not professional just amateur at setting guitars up. I typically set my guitars up but they never need much since I keep things pretty consistent and usually don't have problems. Only when I don't play them for a while I'd typically take them to a pro such as this guitar. Reason for selling is I'm wanting an electric motorcycle to save on gas and so my girlfriend can use our car more often, take the kids places while I'm at work ect and for my own fun lol.
