Description

Rare Vintage Casco Electric Windshield Defroster and Ice Sleet Remover Model 196 for automobiles. Very early model made by Casco Products Corp. in Bridgeport, CT. Dates to the 1930s or before. Includes original box and installation instructions sheet. Defroster is in very good condition with no cracks to the glass. Heat wires all intact. Suction cups for mounting on window are brittle and some flattened as shown. Power cord and switch NOT included and the item is untested. Instruction sheet is intact and aged. Box intact with original Casco label. Label torn from when box was opened. Defroster measures about 16” x 7.25” not including suction cups. See pics for more details.
