The company was a major U.S. manufacturer of fishing reels from 1887 until it was sold to Winchester Repeating Arms Co. in 1919, which helps date this reel to that general era Manufacturer: Andrew B. Hendryx Co., an American manufacturer founded in 1875. Material: It is constructed from nickel-plated brass, a common material for antique reels. Design: The reel features a narrow, raised pillar design and a black handle. The foot is typically marked with "Hendryx" and the number "150".
