Antique Italian Chapman Kitchen Brass Balance Scale This is a rare piece unique and very cool. Circa 1900... Antique Italian Chapman kitchen balance scale, featuring a candle holder. Very nice used condition. Brass material. Originally from Rome, Italy. Wonderful patina. The attached candle holder is today a beautiful aesthetic touch. However, during the creation of this piece, the candle holder served a much more practical purpose- to continue one's work after sun set. The plant and candle are not included.. This is a statement piece that you could use as a centerpiece on a table or large island. This is not only a cool aesthetic piece to look at. It is an amazing piece of history and you could still use it to weigh items.
