Winter Church Old Village Scene, by William Chandler

Small tear at top, if matted would not show. Beautiful winter scene from the old country. Print is 23 wide x 18 high. Between 1(contact info removed), Chandler's work was produced as color or chromolithograph prints by such publishers as Hallen and Weiner (NY), Joseph Hoover (Phila), and Mueller and Lucksinger Co. (NY). Taken from an original painting by artist W.H. Chandler. Chandler produced paintings for sale in department stores in the late 1800's and early 1900's. These were not mass produced. Most of Chandler and his company's output was in the form of landscapes: lakes, streams, rivers and waterfalls dotted with cabins and cottages.
