100% New Zealand wool Karastan in a now discontinued Village Garden pattern (#605). Originally retailing for $2,000–$2,800+ in the 1980s-2000s, this rug is permanently moth and insect resistant. Has held up incredibly well and looks brand new, despite being 25-50 years old. THICK wool pile, plush and soft to the touch. Bakhtiari/Persian garden design with vibrant floral panels, rich colors, and classic samovar border. In perfect condition - no stains, fading, wear, or odors. Has been cleaned and vacuumed.
