Vintage, Large & Beautiful 14" Diameter Decorative Bowl Hand-Painted in Japanese Satsuma-Style Design with Raised Gold Moriage Detailing. Features an ornate multi-figure court scene inside & out with richly decorated floral borders. The raised gold moriage (textured enamel) is of the Japanese-style aesthetics that were highly popular among collectors at the time, however this one was Chinese-made for western export as evidenced by the sticker on the bottom of its custom fitted wooden pedestal. Perfect for a mantel, entry table, display cabinet, or as an elegant centerpiece.
