Selling my Alden shell cordovan wing tip boots. They are slightly tight on me and I was hoping they would stretch but unfortunately I can’t make them work for myself. I ended up buying another pair of these boots in a size 8D. My feet measure at 8.5-9 and I’ll wear sneakers in a 9.5 to be comfortable. I’ve only worn these boot at weddings and by far the most comfortable boots I’ve owned. I will only buy Alden boots now because of how comfortable they are and I have not experience that with any other company. If you’re not familiar with shell cordovan - Shell cordovan is a rare, high-end leather made from a small oval section of horsehide, just beneath the hide on the horse’s rump. Unlike most leathers, which come from the outer skin and have a grain structure, shell cordovan has a dense, smooth fiber structure—which makes it extremely durable, naturally shiny, and resistant to creasing.
