Vintage US Army Graphical Firing Table GFT Artillery Ballistic Slide Rule M565

Vintage U.S. Army Graphical Firing Table (GFT) slide rule, a specialized ballistic computing instrument used by field artillery units during the mid-to-late 20th century. Rather than performing general mathematical calculations, this instrument converts range and elevation data into firing solutions for artillery crews. Constructed of laminated material with a brass-reinforced sliding cursor, the Graphical Firing Table was an essential field tool for quickly determining gun settings before widespread electronic fire-control systems became standard. The instrument is marked “Graphical Firing Table” and “GFT M565” with numbered slide panels visible on each side. An excellent collectible for military historians, artillery enthusiasts, surplus collectors, or display alongside Cold War-era field equipment.
