This Classic English dinghy – the little plywood wonder that brought sailing to the masses – is still loved today by some of our best-known sailors. At just under 11ft. she is big enough for two adults and a couple of kids to sail yet small enough to fit on top of the family car. Ok that’s the story of the brand, this one is far from sail ready but is rather more of a family project. These boats are manufactured with special wood and can be done from a kit. You will have to rebuild the hull. That’s the bad news. The good news is the sails are in good shape and the inventory includes not only a main but a jib and spinnaker as well.
