Key updates included an all-new, KX450 -derived chassis revised engine internals for increased RPM and improved bottom-end power, and new Renthal Fatbar Handlebars. The bike also received updated KYB suspension settings and a smaller rear brake rotor, enhancing its overall handling and feel. Key Features : * Engine:
New piston, longer connecting rod, and lighter crankshaft for increased revs, with revisions to intake and exhaust ports to improve bottom-end power. 
 * Clutch:
A new hydraulic clutch with a cone disc spring provides better feel, modulation, and less lever effort. 
 * Starting System:
Electric start replaces the traditional kickstarter, and there is no kickstart backup. 
 * Chassis and Ergonomics:
The lightweight aluminum perimeter frame, swingarm, lower triple clamp, and linkage ratios are all derived from the KX450. A new, taller Renthal Fatbar is standard. 
 * Brakes:
The front brake master cylinder is sourced from the KX450, and the rear disc rotor is reduced from 250mm to 240mm for better balance and feel. 
 * Suspension:
The KYB spring fork features revised settings, spring rates, and a new triple clamp to complement the updated chassis. 
 * Bodywork:
New, slim bodywork with flush surfaces and in-mold graphics is designed to facilitate rider movement. 
 * Power Management:
The bike includes launch control and DFI couplers to change engine mapping for different conditions.
