For sale. Is a pair of RARE ADVENT NEW VISION '500' These speakers where only offered one year. The price was 1700$ a Pair! The New Advent Series was after Jensen Bought Advent. And before Audiovox bought Jensen. The floor standing Advent model 500 speakers are among the most respected loudspeakers of the 1970's relatively Large Acoustic suspension speakers they are known for their flat frequency. Measuring 45' tall, 12' wide and 9' deep The Hexagon Shaped veneered Advent '500' is one of the most striking speakers to look at given it's unique to piece modular design. The flat shaped housing holds a 5inch rubber Surround Midrange and a 1' Ferro-filled silk dome tweeter. The midrange tweeter assembly can be disconnected from the top of the mahogany base for portability. The Mahogany base encloses an '8inch' bass flex down firing woofer that ports to the rear. The Results is a full range Audiophile sound that is striking to look at and covers the full range very Accurately!! The speakers are in original boxes!! All in excellent condition.
