Description
Is your outboard not running ? Maybe hard starts or not getting fuel? Our gas in the northwest is horrible and if it sits too long in your motor it clogs the carbs, fuel lines and so on. You might think your motor is now junk or it’s gonna cost a bunch if you take it to a repair shop. I’ve been working on outboards for years. I’m NOT a licensed mechanic but I know my way around them. If you’re having outboard motor problems and don’t want to pay high shop wages, then shoot me a line and I can take a look. For $40 bucks I’ll take a look at your motor and see what’s wrong with it. If you decide you want it worked on that $40 will go towards the repair. The average shop is charging $250 for a carb repair and that’s if they can even see it for over a two months out ..Oil change for the motor, lower unit, new water pump and a once over is anywhere from $600-900..Yes hard to believe…Don’t believe me, call a few shops yourself!
