1940s-1950s Glass Christmas 12 Ornaments White Mica Snowball Deep Indentations Poland

12 snowball shaped, round Christmas ornaments from Poland. 9 are from the early 1950s and 3 are from the 1940s. The 1950s balls measure approximately 2” tall x 1 3/4” wide. 1940s balls measure 1 3/4” tall x 1 1/2” wide. Box measures 8 3/4” x 7” x 2”. All have metal caps marked POLAND. Features white glittering mica flakes with deep reflective indentations in the center. 1 is NOT an indent. Hand-painted. The 1950s ornaments have floral patterns painted on their sides. These ornaments have a classic, shimmering aesthetic that reflects light beautifully. Many have hooks dating to the 1940s and 1950s. Box is marked Poland and “X-19-2/1” with classic graphics. The 9 ornaments from the 1950s are in excellent condition. No issues. The 3 from the 1940s have wear consistent with their age. One has a chipped top and the indent is broken (see pictures.) The box shows signs of age and wear. The cellophane cover is torn and one side corner has a tear which separates the 2 sides. Graphics are not faded. These have been in my family for decades.
