Mileage 161000 So, stepdaughter got in an accident, managed to rear-end another car. Only had liability, so the car’s not getting fixed. As you can see from pics, the radiator support is cracked, and headlight assembly is out (it’s in the car, just not attached). I have had a couple mechanic friends look at this, and they identified the damaged part. As the car is not currently roadworthy, you can start the engine, but can’t test drive. It will have to be towed out. My understanding is that the old radiator support will have to be cut out and a new one tack-welded in. If you have the skills to fix this, you can end up with a car for well under it’s value.
