Original photograph of the eruption of Mount St. Helens on May 18, 1980, taken by staff photographer Roger Werth of the Daily News in Longview WA. Same photograph used on the cover of TIME magazine. Werth later was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for his iconic photographs of the eruption, taken from a fixed-wing plane. He was first on the scene and reported the images to the world. Photo was purchased at auction, is in excellent condition, but needs a new frame. Original frame is in bad shape. (photo 19x13) ***PLEASE SEE MY OTHER POSTS***
