Description
These are vintage mid-century modern (MCM) "spaghetti string" or "spaghetti drizzle" glass tumblers, likely manufactured by Color Craft in the 1950s or 1960s. The tumblers are made of clear glass coated with a liquid vinyl material called plastisol, which gives them their textured, frosted appearance and makes them "Shat-R-Pruf" (shatterproof). The unique white, web-like string pattern is achieved by applying a second coat of the plastisol material. The coating also helps keep drinks cold longer, eliminates condensation, and makes the glasses easier to grip. The colors are green, yellow and an orangish yellow. Each glass measures approximately 3¼ x 3¼ and holds 8oz. Three EUC glasses to add/start your MCM collection.
