They don't make them like they used to! This amazing, all original (except the newer upgraded Fox shocks), true American truck can be yours... Just act quickly! These OBS Ford trucks are getting harder and harder to find in good condition and are truly becoming quite rare. "Big Red", as we call her, is definitely an attention grabber. The classic red body, the 4" lift, the big nobbly tires, as well as the front and back original upgraded windshield visor and rear spoiler, all add to the allure... be prepared to get a lot of thumbs up, nods of approval, and "offers to buy" at all gas stations you stop at. You may even think you're famous for a second. Sorry, it's all her. lol Not much else screams "All American" like these old school Ford Trucks. I am only the 2nd owner of this truck and she has been a blast to own. Unfortunately, it is time to sell her to next lucky person. Now to tell you a little more detail about Big Red. She is rust free, other than two surface patches on the hood caused from a bug shield protector that once was installed (see pics). The truck's body is in great shape and almost completely free of dents other than a couple little ones here and there but they pretty much go unnoticed. I recently reapplied a fresh coat of rustoleum black to the chassis just to keep her protected, looking fresh and to maintain an original look. No rubberised paint hiding anything here. The paint on the truck's body is all original and has a natural patina and sun fading in some spots especially on the fiberglass windshield visor and rear spoiler. She polishes and buffs up quite nicely as you can see in the pics. All the tires are relatively new so they have plenty of tread and lots life left in them. The aluminum and chrome wheels shine nicely and are in pretty good shape. The bed has a professionally sprayed in Linex bedliner so it is rugged and tough. I have a brand new chrome/billet front grill still in the box that will come with the truck. The AC is ice cold and runs great. When I bought the truck, I upgraded the AC to the new R134 system. She starts right up and runs strong. She has never given me a problem and has always been very reliable. The interior is in good shape and there are no cracks in the dashboard. The front seats are in ok shape but do show signs of age and use. The driver's side seat has a slight tear in the cloth. The rear seat is in good condition. The carpet has some staining, but no tears... so it's in pretty decent shape. What I know isn't working - The cruise control has not worked since I bought it. I didn't bother looking into it as I never really ever needed it. The radio isn't currently working either, but she could use an upgrade there anyway. The passenger electric window has recently started slipping when being used and needs attention. The window motor is working and sounds strong so it may be a simple adjustment or a fix. If I were to keep her, I would invest in new weatherstripping and window felt/rubbers. They aren't leaking or anything, it is more of an aesthetic thing for me. So now that you know all about Big Red, don't wait, don't hesitate... If you blink, some other guy will have picked her up already! Big Red is a 7.5L 460 V8
