The Glory of the Golden Age: Dutch Art of the 17th Century, Drawings and Prints on the occasion of the exhibition from the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam, Netherlands. The Glory Of The Golden Age Framed Print The Glory of the Golden Age was exhibited at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, Netherlands from April 15–September 17, 2000. The exhibition featured Dutch art from the 17th century, including paintings, sculptures, and decorative arts. A book titled The Glory of the Golden Age: Dutch Art of the 17th Century was also published to accompany the exhibition. The book included a foreword by Ronald de Leeuw, the director of the Rijksmuseum. Rapid Sketches, careful studies, watercolours, large prints with weighty Latin inscriptions, as well as small etchings depicting subtle impressions. All these were produced in the Dutch Republic in the 17th century. The artists active at that time , during the period known as 'The Golden Age', produced huge numbers of drawings and prints which display both enormous diversity and extraordinarily high quality. Measures approximately 19.5x27.5” In good ready to hang condition with wire. There is damage to the bottom right corner of the frame. It does not take away your eye from the framed poster.
